The start of something new…
The vision…
I’ve been saying for the past couple of years “I should start a blog”, simply for the fact of jotting down the moments of my life. Within that time, my life has changed so drastically and I find myself wishing I would’ve kept a diary to record every emotion and memory.
In the past five years, I’ve married my best friend, changed jobs, became first time parents, and just recently welcomed our second. We have worked hard to make a home for ourselves in Tulsa Oklahoma that we are so proud of.
All of these are core memories that I wish I could go back in time and notarize in a journal of such. Something to archive the excitement, the fear, the absolute bliss of growing and navigating these amazing times of my life. So I’m starting now. No longer will I look back on a memory and wish “I should have written that down”.
I plan to share my experience learning to balance career advancement and the world of being a mother. Taking time to remembering to be a supportive partner to my husband and finding time to enjoy for myself. Sharing the details of our trips, any new trends I am loving or any new exciting adventures. I hope that if you’ve made it this far you can relate and will enjoy sticking around for the ride.

A little about me…
A little background information about myself, I am 31 years old and an Oklahoma transplant. I was born and raised originally from Anchorage Alaska. In 2013, after graduating high school, my parents decided to move to southeast Kansas to be more centrally located and closer to their parents. In the fall of 2013, I attended a small, division II school in Alva. After graduating in December 2017, I moved east to Tulsa and started my career in Marketing.
During my time in Alva, I met my now husband, Collin. We have 2 dogs named Boone and Brady, who are the biggest love bugs. In June of 2023, we welcomed our pride and joy into our world. He is now a smart, thriving, and incredible little boy! As of September 2025, we have now welcomed our precious little girl, Masyn Jane.
We love all things travel and adventure whether that being a giant family vacation trip, a weekend getaway to Branson, or a 2 week adventure to Alaska to visit my best friend. A large portion of this blog will be featuring the details of our many travels over the past couple of years in the hope of it being useful for anyone who might be planning a similar trip.
